CHILDREN ETIQUETTE
AGES 7-12
Impressive Image Consulting host one on one and group children etiquette courses.
The goal of this children etiquette course is to teach social skills, modern and traditional
manners within a context of empathetic intention. Your child will be taught what empathy is
and how to use their empathetic strengths to think of how their actions affect those around
them. Additionally, your child will learn proper dining place settings and table etiquette
which readies them for any dining situation, whether it's a causal lunch at a friend's house or
a formal restaurant dinner.
The curriculum is presented as a two part class held from 12-4 p.m. on the third and fourth
Saturdays of each month. All dates and curriculum are subject to change based on
instructor’s needs.
Students will learn the following etiquette techniques.
Class One: Visual Poise/ First Impressions
Good Posture
How to Stand
Proper Sitting Positions
Introducing Yourself to Others
Respecting Other Space and Differences
The Art of Conversation
Telephone Manners
The Art of Magic Words (thank you, welcome, etc.)
Apologies
Sharing and Avoiding the 2 B's and 2 T's (Bossiness, Boasting, Teasing, and Tattling)
Good Sportsmanship
Class Two: Dining Skills /Personal Style in Your Own Skin
Skin, Hair and Hand Care
Body Parts and Hygiene
Building Self-Confidence and Other’s Confidence
How to Properly Set an American Table
Use of Each Utensil
How to Eat Certain Foods
Table Manners
Tipping
The cost of tuition is $300 per child attending group sessions and $400 per child for a one
on one session. Tuition will be paid in full one week before the student’s first class.
